Thank you dear friend.
This
is something I want to share with you!
Some
time ago I received this message from the International Bird Rescue.
Isn't
this a lovely gesture of Ruxandra!
- Amazing
how much love and laughter pets bring into our lives and even how
much closer we become with each other because of them.
Our
love for pet ducks brought us together.
Dear
friend, in gratitude for your friendly gesture I want to share this
picture in loving memory of your duckies.
Loving
memory of Esme and Bruna
Ruxadra's
beloved pets.
Hope
all's going well with you!

Dear
Fran,
We
are pleased to inform you that Ruxandra Balcangui has made a generous
contribution to International Bird Rescue in memory of Pipke the
Duck. This gift supports year-round care of injured birds brought to
International Bird Rescue wildlife centers throughout California,
including the recent “mystery goo” spill into the San Francisco
Bay. As of this writing, we’ve released dozens of sea ducks and
other birds found oiled. Many more remain in our care and are
thankfully nearing their release date.
We’ve
attached a memorial certificate to this email.
Thank
you so much for your support.

Oh, this is very dear! Thank you for the link!
ReplyDeleteWow such a great Lady
ReplyDelete-Ambur
Hi Ambur, glad to see you're back on the web. It must be a relieve for you that you can have contact with the outside world again!
ReplyDeleteYes isn't she a wonderful woman. She also had a few ducklings. She loved them dearly but they perished in horrific conditions. Hope your duckies are still alive and kicking.
Yes it sure was a relief.
DeleteGod bless that lady with patience after all her Loss
My ducks ...well...Andy left us and moved on to heaven on this 9th, 3weeks ago.
It makes me sad to hear this Ambur. -:(
ReplyDeleteCherish the beautiful memories!
Hug
Fran
It's very tough because he wasn't sick or anything, he was playing around just fine...Jack ran after him to peck him...he hit the cardboard and fell to his side...that's it. I don't know if Jack pecked him hard at his nape or it was heart attack or he broke his neck by hitting the card board... It took maybe less than 10secs I don't know. I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye. Only heard his last few heart beats...how could it be like this.
DeleteLet it be a comfort for you that it all went so quick Ambur! Probably he has not suffered.
ReplyDeleteSaying goodbye after a long agony makes the passing even heavier!
Yes indeed that's what I keep telling myself over n over that at least he didn't have to suffer from some illness or something before it happened...time will heal the impact of this blow but my boy will always be loved and missed by his family... I'm only looking forward to meeting him up there in heaven and be with my little baby forever and ever
ReplyDeleteI wished that could be possible! For that reason I want to believe that heaven exists, then no doubt - I would leave this earth immediately! But you know Ambur ...!
ReplyDeleteTake care sweet girl!
Believe in it then it will be...God sure has to award us for what we have done in this life...so let's be good and expect heaven in reward...
ReplyDeleteThankyou for being with me...I know you understand my grief
Yes that would be a better approach, then I would have something to look forward to. I understand your grief more than anyone else because we are kindred spirits.
ReplyDeleteThankyou Fran you know when it happened I couldn't find strength to cope with it...I always put yours and another friend's(who recently lost her little baby) loss as an example infront of me...
ReplyDeleteRemember Ambur: long time ago, when I hasitated to proceed with Pipke's life story, YOU were the one who told me then; gather yourself Fran! You encouraged me! :-)
ReplyDeleteTake care!
I'm glad I could be of a little help in your tough time... Thanx dear friend :)
